Hot news from BBC internet news...

Are you parents ?

Of course, I am.

I am a mother of two lovely, healthy sons, sometimes they're devil~

My kids are always craving some sugary foods with rich flavor, maybe many other kids also could be.

They are not obese, but some degree overweight, I think ( of course, they would deny it )

This new could be helpful many parents those who are afraid of their children's health and future.

Salt -rich diets could be the key to why some children battle with obesity.

In a study of data, researchers found that children eating a salty diet tended to drink more, including more fattening, sugary soft drinks.

One in five children in the UK is overweight and there are fears that this will contribute to a rising trend in adult obesity, heart disease and stroke.

-- this wouldnot be exception inour country, I think.

They estimated that if children cut their salt intake by half, would decrease each child's intake by almost 250 calories per week.

They said reductions in the salt content of 10% or 20 % cannot be detected by human salt taste receptors and do not cause any ' technological or safety problems '

-> This could be the trick point that we could try in our kitchen~~ ( my personal opinion ..)

They suggest reduce salts levels in bread and cereals and better food labelling.. ( such as traffic signal )

In another news, scientists suggested that all food used a ' traffic lights' labelling scheme so that consumers could immediately assess fat, sugar and salt content.

All these news are related to our family problems not just in the far -offcountry's issues.
