Strawberry Jam Crumb Cake ; Quick, Easy & Prettier than most

원래 recipe는 raspberry jam 을 이용한건데,

딸기잼을 넣어서 시도.

Ingredients;

For cake

1 cup weak flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 3/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt, 40 g butter, room temp. melted, 1/2 cup milk

1 egg, 1/2 cup strawberry jam

For crumb topping

40 g butter, melted , 1/4 c brown sugar, 1/4 c granulated sugar

3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon salt

1c plus 2 tablespoon weak flour, some pecans

Preparation

Make cake;

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Whisk together butter, milk, and egg in a large bowel, then whisk in flour mixture until just combined.

Pour batter into cake pan.

Dollop jam all over surface, then swirl into batter with spoon.




Make crumb topping;

Whisk together butter, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.

Stir in flour, then blend with fingertips.

Sprinkle crumbs in large clumps over top of cake,





Preheat oven to 200 degree celsius.

Bake cake about 25 minutes and cool 5 minutes.








It's so sweet and beautiful~~

It looks like somewhat korean traditional rice cake..

And it's so easy to make

Even though I reduced the amount of sugar, it's too sweet for me.. ( but my kids liked it )

And topping amount is too much , It fell off like snow flakes.

Next time, I'll try it again with another jam availableand reduce the topping amount
