Classic Castella for my husband

오래간만에 정통 카스테라를 시도 했다.

바삭한 쿠키나 스콘보다는 부드러운 빵을 선호하는 남편을 위해....

감각이 떨어졌는지, 조금 탔다.

Ingredients

7 eggs

100 g yellow sugar

50 g honey

60 cc milk

190 g strong flour ( instead of weak flour )

20 g melted butter

1 Ample rum oil

Separate egg yolks and egg whites


Whisk egg yolks with 1/3 sugar until creamy color



In another bowl, whisk egg whites with remained sugar

Mix flour and creamy egg yolks and then egg whites.

Add melted butter and mix well.

Add rum oil.



Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius

Bake untll golden brown ; 10 minutes on 180 degrees and 45 minutes on 160 degrees celsius









It's overcooked ~~~

Next time, I'll reduce the bake time about 10 minutes.
