Looking back over the past 10 years since I had my younger son, my husband and I have never experience of focusing on my older son only. Ever since, he has always been obliged to act maturely as an older son. Of course, he has complained about it occasionally. According to him, even during the kindergarten period, he had to do act as a grown-up child. One of the major problems that made me sad was the sibling's rivalry and it reached the peak during the last July and June. Anyway, after my younger son's leaving to Australia, I could see big changes in the relationship between my husband and older son. I realized that he was still so young and needed to get feelings being loved from his parents. Last Friday evening, we received one old picture from my mother in law. In that one, my husband was in the late twenties and he was holding a baby in his arms (approximately one-month-old baby). It made us smile for a while and we were talking about that precious time. He seemed like it so much and put it on his desk. I wonder this peaceful time could be continued after coming back of his younger brother. It's nowa week left.
